Joe Keatinge’s Comics & Stories Official Buddy and Amazing Cartoonist of Comics Like Madman, Red Rocket 7, X-Statix and iZombie, Mike Allred, has brought back his band, THE GEAR, in a whole new incarnation.

They’re fucking amazing. Seriously. It’s a little odd to have one of your favorite bands be one that’s comprised of buddies, but seriously, they’re great. I recently described them as “…the first great classic rock band of the 22nd century” and I wholeheartedly stand by it. Am I prone to hyperbole? Heck, yes, but I stand by my statements.
