Skybound, the Image Comics imprint producing Walking Dead, Invincible, and Witchdoctor, among others, posted up an interview today with its owner and founder, creator/writer Robert Kirkman.

He said some kind things I really appreciated.

6- Which creator do you predict will be the breakout talent in 2012?

I hate to say Joe Keatinge, because he’ll get the big head and turn into a giant jerk… but HELL YEAH and GLORY (both from Image) are GREAT and more people should be reading them, no matter how many people are reading it (and it’s a lot, HELL YEAH is a hit). I think Joe is definitely one to watch. Artist-wise… I think Matteo Scalera is really good, I’m digging his work quite a bit.

Big thanks to Robert for the support. Dude’s been pretty instrumental in my career since the beginning. The first publish text I ever had in a comic was in the back of an issue of Savage Dragon: God War, a book which wrote and I color flatted. Dude’s a great guy and I’m flattered by what he said.
