HELL YEAH IN PREVIEWS!!! …AND CHEW!!!

Holy crap.

So, yeah.

Remember about a month ago when I talked about Glory being featured in Previews, the magazine comics distributor Diamond puts out so retailers from all around the world can order comics from just about every major publisher?

Well.

That’s the cover of the edition just released to stores today. As you can see, the cover features the long-awaited debut of Y: The Last Man & Ex Machina co-creator/writer Brian K. Vaughn & illustrator Fiona Staples’ SAGA.

Image has a pretty insane lineup this month. Not only is SAGA on the horizon, but Fantastic Four writer Jonathan Hickman is debuting an ongoing series of his own, THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS. There’s also the debut of the Extreme line’s next book, BLOODSTRIKE, and the 100th issue of THE DARKNESS.

And then…?

WHAT THE WHAT THE —- !!!

That’s right, everybody - the comic I’ve talked about to friends of mine for nearly twenty years is finally becoming a real, live thing you can buy in a comic shop and read on paper, the way God (or Max Gaines, anyway) intended. Seeing this in Previews is really, really, really surreal. I’ve been ordering my comics from this catalogue or some other iteration of it for… forever? I guess? Yeah, forever. And now a creator-owned comic I wrote is inside of it and available for world-wide consumption.

Sweet, huh?

OH, BUT WAIT THERE’S A FULL PAGE OF INTERIOR PREVIEWS!

Pretty sweet, huh?

If you want an early, exclusive look at those pages as they’ll appear in the book, at full page size with final colors by colorist extraordinare, Jason Lewis, you’ll need buy a copy of this fine funnybook:

That’s right! Hell Yeah is getting a full-five page preview within Image Comics mega-hit CHEW #23, due in-stores on January 18th! Our massive thanks go to John Layman and Rob Guillory for hooking us up with this sweet place to debut the book!

Oh, but wait, there’s more in Previews!

OH, YEAAAAH! THE SECOND ISSUE OF GLORY IS HERE! And by the second issue I mean 24th, because that’s how we roll.

But yeah, part two of ‘One and Future’ is in here and Glory’s face is looking MESSED UP. The solicitation text also claims the opening sequence is one of the most brutal in Extreme history. It’s not lying.

Hey, speaking of solicitation text. Here’s what’s in those kind of blurry jpegs:

OH MAN, OH MAN. SO MANY COMICS.

Seriously, if someone was like, “hey, what did you do in 2011 and even a large chunk of 2010?” the answer was, “preparing for this.” The full answer is much longer, but the truth remains I’ve been looking forward to this for a very, very long time and I’m very, very stoked the launch is just about here. This is gonna be good times, folks. I’m excited for you to read these.
